Our Home

Where Are We?

Where we work, and why we love it so much!

Our New Offices

Situated in the beautiful, Georgian town of Farnham, Two Point Studios has just moved into new, totally refurbished offices, bang in the centre of town. We sit opposite the picturesque Gostrey Meadows, which hosts a number of town events - often with great food, drink and activity stalls! At our new-and-improved studio, we have a newly-fitted kitchen/café space, as well as a tea and coffee point closer to our open-plan work area. We also have cosy, private meeting pods, meeting rooms with beautiful views over the town, and a gaming area for breaks and our regular social evenings and events.

Farnham

Two Point Studios' home has a lot to offer, including restaurants, cafés and pubs, as well as our library, museum and leisure centre - which has two pools, a gym, and multi-purpose courts. We have three, great outdoor spaces: Gostrey Meadow, the ‘secret’ Victoria Gardens and Farnham Park. Just next to the park, you can join one of the weekly tours around our historic, 12th century castle, the location of the Two Point Christmas party 2019, and once residence of the Bishops of Westminster. If shopping’s your thing, Farnham’s got you covered; from clothes stores to book shops, as well as lots of great, independent retailers, like Elphicks department store, 101 Collectors’ Records, and our oldest store, Pullingers art shop, which was established back in 1850! Not to forget, the new Brightwells Yard development, which will bring even more shops, restaurants and a new, six-screen cinema!

Nearby

Farnham is known for its great connections to other towns, cities - and the rest of the world! Established as one of the first commuter towns outside London, we’re only an hour away by train or car, to everything the capital has to offer. We’re also just a stone’s throw away - 20 minutes by car or train - from Guildford, the gaming ‘Hollywood’ of the UK, and a great place for a day out; whether you’re looking to shop, eat, drink or watch a film. We’re an hour and a half from the lovely seaside town, and another gaming hub, Brighton, as well. Only forty minutes from Heathrow, and an hour from Gatwick, we really are a great place to be situated, no matter where in the world you want to visit!

Grand Days Out

You don’t have to go far for a great day out, though; the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is all around us - stretching from Farnham to Tatsfield - and has lots of great walking and picnicking areas, like the Devil’s Punchbowl and Frensham Ponds. Nearby, we have another great picnic spot: the ruins of the first Cistercian abbey in England, Waverley Abbey, where French Monks settled back in 1128! You can even hold meetings and events at Waverley Abbey House, the beautiful, Grade 2 listed Georgian mansion, next door. Not to mention, right in the middle of town, we have our annual carnival, featuring a parade, fayre, and lots of food, drinks and entertainment tents dotted around.

Culture & The Arts

Farnham is well-known for its arts and crafts, and has so much to offer for art-lovers. In the town centre, we have The Maltings, an arts centre that holds a range of different music nights - from opera to the blues - as well as a weekly cinema, stand-up comedy, plus sixteen studios that host a number of different workshops and clubs on a regular basis. Not to forget the annual Farnham Beerex festival! Outside Farnham, we have the nearly 150-year-old Farnham Pottery, two great galleries, and the Sculpture Park. This two-mile trail, with picnic spots and huts-for-hire, is the world’s largest all-year sculpture exhibition, featuring around 650 different sculptures - almost all of which are for sale, meaning it’s always changing!

The Local Cuisine

Farnham’s a great place for any foodies out there, too! Originally a market town, we have a monthly Farmers’ Market, that features a myriad of delicious, seasonal food, as well as plenty of food festivals held throughout the year. Farnham has a ton of great places to eat, from favourites like Gail’s, Pizza Express and The Giggling Squid, to a load of independent cafés, pubs and restaurants. We’ve got delicious bakeries, authentic Italian, Indian and Thai restaurants, and eleven different pubs just in the town centre, all serving up a wide range of top-notch grub!

Family Fun

We have a variety of independent and state schools in the area, some of which are among the top-rated schools in the country. In fact, Weydon secondary school was rated the top performing school of its kind in The Sunday Times School Guide 2020, and South Farnham School has, more than once, been rated the best state primary school in Britain! Outside of that, there’s a ton of activities and days out for families; there are lots of sports clubs and singing, dancing and acting groups for a wide range of ages, as well as scouts and girl guides for the kids. We also have loads of great walks and picnic areas nearby as well, including Alice Holt forest, which has a Go Ape, lots of kids’ play areas, a café, and rentable bikes and BBQs. For even more fun-filled days out, we have attractions like Birdworld and Guildford Spectrum, which features an ice-skating rink, bowling alley and leisure pool - complete with water slides and a wave machine!

Social Life

All our beautiful outdoor spots, network of arts-related activities, and so many great cafés, restaurants and pubs, mean you’re never short of things to get up to around here. The William Cobbett pub is just a 2-minute walk from our new front door - which we’re all very excited about! We also have a great network of social groups, including art and sculpture classes at Farnham Pottery, as well as music, theatre and language classes - and with the University of Creative Arts in town, there are plenty more art courses and events to attend year-round. There are lots of ways to socialise while getting some exercise in, too; from more intense sport clubs, like rugby and hockey, to the Farnham Ramblers, who won the ‘Best Walks Programme in Britain’ Award in 2013. Along with all this, we have twelve different places of worship in the area, and a ton of different annual festivals, from Farnham Fringe, to the Gin & Fizz Festival!
