Rides & Relics Taster

Take on the role of Funfair Expert, and prepare to reopen the gates of Two Point County’s once-legendary amusement park after a decades-long hiatus. For years, the site at Riquetti Gardens has sat dark, rusty and guest-less - and there’s nothing amusing about that, hm?

Mascots

Your Assistants can now get dressed to thrill, with a variety of new character mascots. Once you unlock the Mascot Menagerie in the first act of Riquetti Gardens, you’ll gain access to new Points of Interest (POIs) across each Expedition Map.

RNR_BLOG_MASCOTS.pngThere’s a mascot for every flavour of museum, with new costumes even available for some of your existing museum themes, and more. These costumes will turn your Assistants into walking, talking (kind of) characters! Mascots can - and will - impact guests’ experience; each mascot not only improves your guests’ patience when queueing for rides, but each costume has a unique effect, too.

New Outdoor Options

We heard you loud and clear, Curators! We know many of you have suggested adding new options for outdoor walls or fences, plus more options for trees and rocks. Well… we’re here to DELIVER!

In the Decorations tab of the Items menu, you’ll find new hedge options; you can drag them out as long or as short as you need. There are also 12 new trees, with different shapes, heights and styles available for all your dendrology needs. You’ll have four new trees, each with three size variants: Sycamore, Riquetti, Chestnut, and Birch.

RNR_BLOG_TREES.pngYou’ll also find three new large boulders, so you can create rock walkways and surround your exhibits or rides with rocky formations.

In the Foundations menu, when selecting Partitions, you’ll see a new tab called “External Walls”. These behave like the hedges, so you can create walled areas outside your museum for the first time.

In the Botany tab, as you progress through the Rides & Relics taster, you’ll unlock new garden planters for outside your museum. You can unlock different shapes and sizes across the Points of Interest in Gearbox Fairgrounds.

What’s included?

  • New Outdoor Tiles

  • 12 new large trees (3 Sycamore, 3 Riquetti, 3 Chestnut, 3 Birch)

  • 3 new large boulder items (with variants)

  • 5 new outdoor hedges

  • 9 new external walls/fences

  • 8 new botany garden planters

  • Garden Archway

View Detailed Info in the Guest Inspector

It’s now easier than ever to cater to your Guests. Instead of opening the sticker book to see their exhibit and Gift Shop preferences, you can find all these details in the Guest Inspector.

  • ✨ Fixed an issue where the objective Fish Eat Fish World Pt. 2 wasn’t registering the Shortfin Mako, Void Eye, Anglerfish and Bursting Anglerfish as Pescetarian exhibits.

  • ✨ Fixed a messaging issue where the POI objective for SS Silverbottom was stating it needed a staff member at qualification level 5 of Supernatural. This now correctly says Rank 5 of Supernatural instead. Content!
